Here's what Neal Boortz said about it: "It looks like Obama is going to try to Rham through his ObamaCare .. never mind that only 25% of the people in this country want the bill passed. "I thought it might be fun to compare two quotes from The Community Organizer. The first was from a Senate debate in 2005. You will remember that Obama was in the Senate ... he was there a whole 143 days before he decided he was ready to be the President of the United States. In 2005 the Republicans were getting a little fed up with the Democrats blocking so many judicial nominees. To get these nominees confirmed the Republicans would have to get by the filibuster. Obama didn't like that idea at all ... not even a little bit; so from the floor of the Senate our future president has this to say:

"... ahhh .. and ... what I worry about would be that th-th-you-eh-essentially have still two chambers, the House and the Senate but you have simply majoritarian ... ahhh ... absolute power on either side and that's not what the founders intended."

OK .. he's right. The founders intended for it to be extremely difficult to get legislation through the Senate. It seems to work .. .most times. But those were Obama's feelings in 2005 when he was on the side .. the Democrat side .. that wanted to use the filibuster to block Bush judicial nominees. Now things are different. It's the Republicans who are doing the blocking and it's Obama who wants the filibuster bypassed so that he can get his ObamaCare through. So ... what is Obmaa saying now? It's really pretty simple:

"I think most Americans think a majority vote makes sense."

Well now, isn't that absolutely typical? Hey ... I'll be fair here and admit that for both Republicans and Democrats alike, the virtue of the filibuster depends entirely on whether or not you approve of the legislation being filibustered."

The Rangel swamp

The House ethics committee slapped Rep. Charles Rangel's wrist Thursday, admonishing the New York Democrat for improperly accepting corporate-funded trips to Caribbean conferences in 2007 and 2008. The committee said it couldn't prove Rangel knew about the corporate money, but said his staff sure knew and Rangel should have known.

You would have thought the signs and materials from Citigroup, Pfizer, American Airlines, AT&T, Verizon, Macy's and IBM plastered around the 2008 conference in St. Maarten would have provided a clue that corporate money was involved. But apparently Rangel was clueless. His response to the ethics committee's admonishment? He criticized the committee and blamed his staff. "Common sense dictates that members of Congress should not be held responsible for what could be the wrongdoing or mistakes or errors of staff," he said. What a stand-up guy.

This is hardly the end of the ethical problems facing the chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee. The ethics committee has been investigating Rangel at a glacial pace for numerous ethical violations, but has yet to rule on other, even more serious, charges. These include his belated financial disclosure of up to $1 million in financial assets, tens of thousands of dollars in municipal bonds and up to $100,000 in rent from a New York apartment building; using his congressional letterhead to solicit money for the Charles B. Rangel Center for Public Service at the City College of New York; and illegally turning one of his four rent-controlled apartments in New York into a campaign office.

This ethical cloud has hung over Rangel, who runs one of the most powerful committees in Congress, for 18 months.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who promised to preside over the "most honest and open Congress in history," knows an ethics violation when she sees one. He's "ethically unfit to lead", she said.

Oh, wait, she didn't say that about Rangel. She said that about former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay when the House ethics committee admonished the Texas Republican in 2004. Thanks to politico.com for reprising her comments, we have this memorable Pelosi quote: "Republicans must answer: Do they want an ethically unfit person to be the majority leader or do they want to remove the ethical cloud that hangs over the Capitol?"

Good question that Democrats must answer, Madam Speaker. Her response Friday to the ethical cloud hanging over Rangel? "We'll just have to see what happens next." Really? What ought to happen next is Rangel relinquishes his gavel. Common sense dictates it.

MORE B.O. LIES EXPOSED REGARDING HEALTHCARE

Has Robert Gibbs managed to find the Republican's alternative to healthcare yet? I mean, c'mon folks ... did you hear Obama's press secretary the other day? He actually had the gonads to get up and say: "The president posted ideas of his on the White House website today. We hope Republicans will post their ideas either on their website, or we'd be happy to post them on ours, so that the American people could come to one location and find out the parameters of what will largely be discussed on Thursday."

The problem? The Republicans do have a plan listed on their website. In fact, their plan has been online since October. Not only that, but if you go to Whitehouse.gov you will see that the White House has even posted a link to the GOP plan. So ... what is going on here? After all, this isn't the first time that the Obama administration has told you that that the Republicans don't have any plans on healthcare. It doesn't help that the ObamaMedia continues to perpetuate this myth.
Odd, isn't it?

Here's what's going on. The Obama Administration is more than willing to flat-out lie if it will help them move forward with their plan to seize about 17% of the nation's economy. They know that if they continue to say that the Republicans have no plan - if they continue to hammer home the lie that the Republicans haven't put anything on their website - most of the people out there will just simply believe them. Very few people will say "Hey, I wonder if he's telling us the truth here. I think I'll go check the Republican website for myself." Ain't gonna happen, and Robert Gibbs knows it.

The truth? GOP lawmakers have proposed more than 30 of their own bills. Rep. Tom Price and fellow House Republicans of the Republican Study Committee have proposed all of these bills within the last year: H.R. 77; H.R. 109; H.R. 198; H.R. 270; H.R. 321; H.R. 464; H.R. 502; H.R. 544; H.R. 917; H.R. 1086; H.R. 1118; H.R. 1441; H.R. 1458; H.R. 1468; H.R. 1658; H.R. 1891; H.R. 2520; H.R. 2607; H.R. 2692; H.R. 2784; H.R. 2785; H.R. 2786; H.R. 2787; H.R. 3141; H.R. 3217; H.R. 3218; H.R. 3356; H.R. 3372; H.R. 3400; H.R. 3438; H.R. 3454; and H.R. 3478.

That is on top of all of the Republican amendments that the Democrats systematically rejected throughout this debate. This is an enlightening reminder of the Republican amendments to healthcare reform that were flat out rejected by Democrats.

Breaking Down Year One of the Stimulus (Lies and BS)

Let's rewind the clocks to one year ago. America needed the stimulus package. We couldn't live without it. That's what our leaders were telling us then:

SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE NANCY PELOSI: Failure to act quickly can only lead to more job losses and more economic pain for Americans.

PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA: I don't believe that it's too late to change course. But it will be if we don't take dramatic action as soon as possible. If nothing is done, this recession could linger for years. The unemployment rate could reach double digits.

The situation could not be more serious.  It's time to pass an economic recovery and reinvestment plan to get our economy moving.

VICE PRESIDENT JOE BIDEN: This is about getting this out and spent in 18 months, to create 3.5 million jobs and to set — tee this up, so the rest of the good work that's being done here literally dropkicks us out of this recession and we begin to grow again.

Yes, America might not recover if we didn't borrow more money from places like China and then recklessly spend it.  So, how has the plan worked out? Vice President Joe Biden had this glowing review:

BIDEN: This act, along with everything else we did, helped us avoid a depression. It also succeeded in saving or creating 2 million of jobs so far.

It was designed to have two stages to it. We've only been halfway through the act. The job creating portions are really loaded in the second half here and the major projects that are going to be being built but yes, they have gotten money's worth.

Two stages? Was the first stage just to waste our money? That's new to me. Did you know that? Well it's good to know that they didn't work on job creation in the first part, because unemployment has gone from 8.2 percent to 9.7 percent. And there was no intent to restore the economy either: America owes $1.6 trillion more today than we did a year ago.

Anyway, the president offered his assessment today:

OBAMA: The Recovery Act was never intended to save every job or restore our economy to full strength. No bill or government program can do that. Businesses are the true engines of growth. Businesses are the engines of job creation in this country.

Did I hear right? The president said that government can't restore the economy? That's weird, because I think it was about a year ago when he told America this:

OBAMA: The federal government is the only entity left with the resources to jolt our economy back into life.

But now that it's not working, seems he's playing a different tune. Valerie Jarrett chalked the bad wrap on the stimulus over PR struggles: "It's hard to get out positive news stories when people tend to focus on what's going wrong as opposed to what's going well." She added that the administration has "not done a good enough job explaining" how the plan has helped people.

I can't take it anymore. 
Mr. President, we can hear you! The American people can hear you! And you and the people who have done this to the American economy are about to hear from us.

Let's say you broke your leg. You go to the hospital and your leg is fixed. And you get back on your feet — you're feeling good. You don't need the doctor to say, "You don't have a broken leg anymore." Same with the stimulus: If it were actually helping people, Valerie, you wouldn't have to explain it better.

In fact, it's working so poorly that polls show that more people believe Elvis is alive than believe the stimulus actually worked.

That's how much of a disaster this thing has been. I mean, Joe Biden is in charge of it. What did you expect?

Only about a third of the stimulus money has been spent. Wait, I thought it was an emergency? Anyway, what about those lucky people who actually got money? Who are they? One lucky recipient was Serious Windows, a small window manufacturer. In a strange, unrelated coincidence, the VP of policy for Serious Windows happens to be married to Obama's weatherization "czar" Cathy Zoi.

Small world, huh?

And now, many of the places that received money from the stimulus package — like schools who were struggling — well, the money has dried up and now they are broke again. This wasn't about creating jobs. None have been "created," they just prolonged the inevitable and, in the process, wasted taxpayer money.

But that's not stopping the White House from coming out and saying that it saved us from another Great Depression. Really? I thought that was TARP's job.

No one will tell you the truth. You know, before they announced it, I was actually for some form of TARP and the reason was, if you can just hold off the collapse for a while, you can use that time to wake people up, help them to prepare. But they haven't used it for that. They've used it to convince us that everything is just dandy. We fixed that mess George W. Bush made, huh? And they are using it for the fundamental transformation of this country. Want something to pass? Don't worry about it; we'll jam it in the next stimulus. Congress is being circumvented and is becoming irrelevant.

Fundamental transformation or restoration; one of the two is heading our way.

I can't say it enough: prepare. Use this time wisely. While they argue over which jobs were "saved" and look for Elvis, save your money. Get out of debt. When a store is offering two for one, do what your grandparents did. Most importantly educate yourself. Know history, the Constitution.

If I'm wrong (and I hope I am) then no big deal. Better safe than sorry. When has that been bad in America? Ben Franklin would be proud. But I beg you to consider that the worst is not behind us. It's yet to begin.

The Government Education Monopoly...more BO lies exposed

According to John Stossel, those who support the current system of government education often point to programs like Head Start. Isn’t that something the government does well? Politicians love it. Hillary Clinton called Head Start “such an extraordinary success."

And so you've spent 166 billion dollars funding 45 years of head start classes. But now the Department of Health and Human Services has done another study of the results. This study was well-designed: several thousand kids applied for Head Start, but then, for the purposes of the study, half were randomly rejected from the program. The DHHS then followed the kids over the next two years.

What did they find? As CATO education expert Andrew Coulson summarizes:

Not a single one of the 114 tests administered to first graders -- of academics, socio-emotional development, health care/health status and parenting practice -- showed a reliable, statistically significant effect from participating in Head Start.

Even the DHHS admits, " the Head Start children and the control group children were at the same level on many of the measures studied."

166 billion of your dollars have made...no difference. Remember the president's promise?

Obama: "We've got to eliminate programs that don't work, and we're doing that." (3/26/2009)
Obama: "Eliminating programs that don't work to make room for ones that do." (2/23/2009)

So, since a government study found head start doesn’t have lasting effects, You might assume the program would be eliminated. Or at least cut back. But no. The study has hardly received any attention, and get this: The budget Obama just proposed would *increase* head start spending by a billion dollars.

THIS MOPE OF A PRESIDENT LIES SO MUCH THAT HE CAN'T KEEP HIS STORIES STRAIGHT ANY MORE!

JOBS CREATED OR SAVED????

I don't really know what that means because no one in any previous administration has ever used this term before. I think its a term that BO made up to make us think that he's doing a great job. Maybe he is...but let's look at it this way:

THE GOOD NEWS: 2 million jobs were "saved or created."

THE BAD NEWS: Those jobs were all in the last 7 of the 57 states he campaigned in!

So I'm still not sure what it means. But a poll yesterday indicated that only 6% of Americans believe that the stimulus bill created any jobs or improved the economy.

7% of Americans beliieve that Elvis is still alive! Here are some of the workers benefitting from the stimulus funds.

SO IT'S THE LIAR-IN-CHIEF, NOT BUSH, WHO IS REALLY F**CKING UP THE COUNTRY

Our Liar-in-Chief, President BO, has signed a law that will allow the U.S. to borrow nearly $2 trillion more than before.  The sneak signed the bill Friday night at the White House with little public fanfare...in the hope that all us older folks would already be asleep, and the younger ones would be going out to begin their weekend partying, thus no one would notice the additional burden he added onto the mountain of debt he has already burdened us and our grandkids with.

The maximum debt the U.S. can carry is now $14.3 trillion. The U.S. was already poised to exceed the previous maximum.   The report states that change comes at a time when the American public is increasingly concerned about the government deficits.  GEE, NO SH*T!  Wonder how they got that idea?

In an attempt calm those fears, the bill also included a "pay-as-you-go" provision.  Originally enacted in the 1990s, the law requires any new spending or tax cut to be offset by tax increases or spending cuts elsewhere.

In his weekly radio and internet lecture to us on Saturday,  BO praised the "pay-as-you-go" law, saying it was how a "responsible family or business" manages money. But I'm left wondering how he would know.  He's never run or managed a business.  All he knows about is being a "community organizer."  And since he has not proposed any spending cuts, that can only mean we can expect more tax increases up the wazoo to pay for this (but his immature little testicles haven't descended far enough yet to tell us directly that that is what this deviousness means).

Again,  the Liar-in-Chief used his address to blame the current debt and deficits on the previous administration of  George W. Bush and the U.S. congress during his tenure.   But what this fool of a president seems to forget (conveniently so) is that only congress can approve expenditures, and congress has been controlled by Democrats since 2007.  So why doesn't he blame his own party for the reckless run-up in our debt (and rundown in our economy) for the last 3 years?

Isn't it time for this immature, man-child to stop blaming Bush and Republicans for everything wrong with our country today and face up to the fact that this is all the result of his economic policies, and the reckless spending of his dumbass congresses (think Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid).  Here are the real facts in a nutshell:  In JANUARY, 2007, WHEN THE DEMS TOOK CONTROL OF CONGRESS, THE UNEMPLOYMENT RATE WAS 4.6% WHEREAS NOW IT IS 10%, THE BUDGET DEFICIT WAS $161 BILLION AND NOW IT IS $1.5 TRILLION (ALMOST A TEN-FOLD INCREASE), AND THE NATIONAL DEBT WAS $8.7 TRILLION (OR ABOUT $40,000 PER CITIZEN) WHEREAS NOW IT WILL BE $14.3 TRILLION WITH THIS NEW INCREASE.

Look BO, it's long past time to stop blaming Bush for everything including the skid marks in your underpanties and tell the people that it's you who is f*#king-up America!  AND NOT ANYONE ELSE.

FRIDAY MORNING LIARS AND CLOWNS

The Liar-in-Chief's media army of liars and clowns are tripping over themselves to come up with ways to glorify  this mope of a president instead of reporting the news like they should. For instance: 

In a new , President Barack Obama’s disapproval level jumped five points, to 45 percent since the last survey in mid-January, with approval now at just 46 percent, but Thursday’s CBS Evening News skipped that bad news for Obama and instead highlighted some better news for the President. Though 80 percent said “members of Congress more interested in serving special interest groups” than the American people, “the President gets better marks on that score,” Katie Couric touted, as “most think his priority is serving the people.”       

Also,   On Monday’s ‘The Dylan Ratigan Show’ on MSNBC, host Dylan Ratigan began the program by ranting: “The tea party has a bit of an integrity problem, as everybody from birthers, to open racists, to outright Nazis are actually on the team. And no one involved, including its leadership, seems to mind that fact.” To justify his outrageous smear of the political movement, Ratigan cited one woman who attended the weekend tea party convention in Nashville, Tennessee: “I just couldn’t sit down anymore and not do anything. Because it reminded me of what happened during the rein of Hitler.”

And remember when our Liar-in-Chief said "if your family earns less than $250,000 a year, you will not see your taxes increased a single dime." At the same time, he promised the American public healthcare reform, cap-and-trade, and other programs requiring more spending. It didn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that Obama would have to pay for it somehow ... and since the government does not create wealth but merely takes it from us at the point of a gun ... he is going to need the force of government to get the  money. A lot of it. More than he can get his hands on merely by just taxing the evil rich.  So yesterday he says that he is "agnostic" about raising taxes on families earning less than $250,000 a year. The word "agnostic,"  means a person unwilling to commit to an opinion about something. Well gee whiz, Mr. BO.... I'm sure that there are a lot of taxpayers out there who DO have an opinion on their taxes and earnings. After all, it is OUR money and not Obama or the government's money...although the majority of freeloaders in Detroit seem to think it is.  So he lied to us back then...and he has been lying to us ever since.

For you rich people - Obama doesn't want you to feel like you are being punished. He wants you to see it as a viable way to "deal with debt and deficits in a realistic way." Because we all know that taxing the achievers is how we are going to turn the tide of this economy. But when it comes down to it, BO has things figured out. Are you ready for this? Obama says, "Our real problem is not the spike in spending last year, or the lost, even the lost revenues last year, as significant as those are ... The real problem has to do with the fact that there is a just a mismatch between the amount of money coming in and the amount of money going out. And that is going to require some big, tough choices that, so far, the political system has been unable to deal with."  So according to the presidential mope, our real problem is not record levels of government spending. It is a "mismatch" in funds. And how do you solve a mismatch in outrageous government spending? Generate more tax revenue.

"Speaking of unemployment in metro areas… Who lives in metro areas? Obama voters live in metro areas! These are the areas that show up deep, dark blue on the maps. So you metro people, how is that hope and change working for you? Do you feel like you were lied to? Do you feel like you were taken, like you were hoodwinked? Victor Davis Hanson, had a great column today, says (paraphrased), "You know, Obama's big problem is words mean things and people believed him. People listened to him say all these things and they believed what he said. Europeans believed him, Americans believed him, and they see that he's not doing anything he said he was going to do."

Well what's new about that?

MORE JOBS CREATED BY LIAR-IN-CHIEF?

The Polk County, So. Carolina, school district is giving away iPods to some parents.The school district is using the device to reward parents of children with disabilities who fill out a 10-minute online survey. The district wants to know how well it's connecting with the parents and how to get parents involved in their children's education.
The district is spending about $350,000 in federal stimulus money for the iPods.
The district has more than 10,000 students with disabilities.

I'm sure BO will proudly announce that this will "save or create" hundreds of jobs.  So now I can see why we need another stimulus bill.

Obama Hits Lowest Approval Mark

According to the National Journal, independent voters see Pres. Obama in a negative light by a nearly 2-1 margin, according to a new Marist College survey, while almost half of voters say he has failed to meet their expectations.  The poll, conducted Feb. 1-3, showed just 44% of registered voters approving of Obama's job as president. 47% disapprove. But among indie voters, Obama's approval rating sits at a terrible 29%, while his disapproval rating is at 57%.

Obama's 44% job approval rating is the lowest he has scored in any non-internet poll since moving into the WH, according to a review of data compiled by Pollster.com.  And while GOPers strive to avoid attacking Obama personally, for fear of offending voters who see him in a favorable light personally, even that aura of invincibility is wearing off. Independent voters view Obama negatively, too, by a 39% favorable to 52% unfavorable margin. All registered voters still see Obama favorably by a 50%-44% margin, but that's down 5 points in just 2 months.

Voters are disappointed in what they got with Obama's first year. The poll shows 47% believe Obama has failed to meet their expectations -- including a quarter of Dems, 65% of GOPers and 53% of indie voters -- while just 42% say he has met their expectations. 38% say Obama's policies are moving the country in the wrong direction, while 37% say they're making the country better.

Of course his poll numbers are down, he lies everytime he opens his mouth, and he has done literally nothing to help improve the economic environment in America.

OBAMA LIES AGAIN ABOUT LOBBYISTS

According to the Washington Examiner, more than 40 former lobbyists work in senior positions in the Obama administration, including three Cabinet secretaries and the CIA director. Yet in his State of the Union address, Obama claimed, "We've excluded lobbyists from policymaking jobs."

Right!  And pigs can fly.

So, the country may have heard, "we haven't hired lobbyists to policymaking jobs," but the White House tells us Obama meant, "we only hired some of the lobbyists who applied for policymaking jobs." In other words, they've excluded some lobbyists. 

So I guess in their minds that makes BO's lies okay!  WTF!

THIS PRESIDENT LIES EVERYTIME HE OPENS HIS MOUTH!  WHY DOES ANYBODY WASTE THEIR TIME WATCHING HIM GIVE SPEECHES?

STATE OF THE UNION LECTURE

Ron Hart, the political humorist, author and columnist,  has a great opening paragraph in today's column.  He said:
        "President Obama made his State of the Union speech/lecture last week, opening with the obligatory, “I am happy to report that the state of our Union is strong.” As any entertainer will tell you, it is smart to start with a good joke."

He further went on to say:  "The speech was classic teleprompter Obama: arrogant, dismissive, patronizing, and uncontaminated by any sense of reality. I felt like I was listening to a high school principal who calls the students together after a troubling event in the parking lot — lecturing, casting aspersions, and implying that he knows who did it.   Obama’s speech was full of scold and scorn, with none directed toward himself."

As I stated in previous postings, I'm sick and fed up with his "lecturing" us on the outrageous spending that he and his congress are burdening our future generations with.  Based on his budget proposal, the average households share of the national debt will soar to $75,000!  And he should stop his lies and blaming Bush for this financial disaster.  As I said before, only congress is authorized to spend money, and democrats controlled congress all of 2007, 08 and '09  when the deficit  soared from $162 Billion when Bush left office to $1.4 Trillion now (10x as much) under BO and his administration.

SO HOW LONG IS HE GOING TO GET AWAY WITH THIS DECEIT AND LYING?  WHEN IS THE MEDIA GOING TO START CALLING HIM OUT ON THESE LIES...AND HIS RECKLESS SPENDING PROPOSALS?


Everytime he opens his mouth and lies to us, he leads us to believe he is fiscally conservative and is curbing congressional spending.  But then he turns around and does just the opposite.  HE IS A SMOOTHLY POLISHED LIAR WHO IS STILL FOOLING A MAJORITY OF THE SIMPLE MINDED POPULACE.  BUT IN REALITY HE IS CRAPPING ON US AND LEADING US DOWN THE "ROAD TO SERFDOM!"
