BUT THE PATHOLOGICAL LIAR-IN-CHIEF SAID THAT THIS WAS THE SUMMER OF RECOVERY. WHAT'S UP WITH THAT?

The number of U.S. workers filing new claims for unemployment insurance unexpectedly rose to its highest level in close to six months, a fresh signal of a weak jobs market.

The number of new claims for jobless benefits rose 2,000 to 484,000 in the week ended August 7, the second straight increase, Labor Department data showed on Thursday.
"This is not a good number," said John Brady, an analyst at MF Global in Chicago. "Claims are going the wrong way. That has the market concerned."

The data comes two days after the Federal Reserve downgraded its assessment of the economy's health and said it would take steps to ensure its support for the fragile economic recovery does not wane.

U.S. stock index futures added to losses, while U.S. Treasury debt prices pared losses following the data.  The jobless claims data is the latest in a series of releases which indicate the pace of the economic recovery is slowing.

Economists have been ratcheting down estimates for second-quarter economic growth after data on trade and inventories for June suggested it was not as strong as earlier thought.
The government estimated last month the economy advanced at a 2.4 percent annualized pace in the April-June quarter, far more slowly than the 3.7 percent pace of the first quarter, and now some economists believe the economy may have grown at less than half that rate.

LIES, LIES AND MORE LIES...THIS GUY IS THE GREATEST LIAR IN HISTORY

The Pathological Liar-in-Chief has more lies exposed.  This from a recent posting by Neal Boortz explains the deceit and falsities in his plans.

OBAMACARE ... NOW YOU TELL US!

The ObamaCare health insurance mandate was a tax? NOW you tell me!
It seems to me that when Obama was pushing to pass ObamaCare, the Democrats denied the fact that requiring Americans to obtain health insurance or pay a penalty was creating a new tax. Here's a little refresher. This was an interview with George Stephanopoulos which took place in September of 2009. PrezBo said: "The -- for us to say that you've got to take a responsibility to get health insurance is absolutely not a tax increase. What it's saying is, is that we're not going to have other people carrying your burdens for you anymore than the fact that right now everybody in America, just about, has to get auto insurance. Nobody considers that a tax increase. People say to themselves, that is a fair way to make sure that if you hit my car, that I'm not covering all the costs." Now let's flash to summer 2010 when ObamaCare is being challenged by more than 20 states in the courts. The Obama Administration needs and excuse for the law forcing people to buy health insurance, and they've found one. Now, suddenly, it's a TAX! That's tight, the health care mandate is actually a TAX and the government's "power to lay and collect taxes" is all the authorization they need! Amazing how the tune changes when they are backed up against the wall and are forced to defend the law based on our Constitution and not Obama logic.

But that's not all we are learning in the months following the passage of ObamaCare. This from the New York Times, "As the Obama administration begins to enact the new national health care law, the country's biggest insurers are promoting affordable plans with reduced premiums that require participants to use a narrower selection of doctors or hospitals .. The tradeoff, they say, is that more Americans will be asked to pay higher prices for the privilege of choosing or keeping their own doctors if they are outside the new networks. That could come as a surprise to many who remember the repeated assurances from President Obama and other officials that consumers would retain a variety of health-care choices and that you would be able to keep your doctor if you wished to. Surprise? Not for anyone who knew the consequences of a system that limits competition and mandates participation. But then they probably don't teach these concepts in government schools.

We're still not through. How about ObamaCare's effect on government agencies like the IRS. The IRS, you will remember, is expected to enforce these news laws and regulations. This from the Wall Street Journal, "National Taxpayer Advocate Nina Olson, who operates inside the IRS, highlighted the agency's new mission in her annual report to Congress last week .. She notes that the IRS is already 'greatly taxed'--pun intended?--'by the additional role it is playing in delivering social benefits and programs to the American public,' like tax credits for first-time homebuyers or purchasing electric cars. Yet with ObamaCare, the agency is now responsible for 'the most extensive social benefit program the IRS has been asked to implement in recent history.' And without 'sufficient funding' it won't be able to discharge these new duties." The IRS can't handle the workload so the only option is more money. Taxpayers .. bend over!

Hey you filthy rich people earning over $200,000 a year .. did you know that ObamaCare has another hidden tax that you may not know about? Section 1402, "Unearned Income Medicare Contribution," imposes a 3.8% tax on profits from the sale of real estate -- residential or investment, but it is only levied on people earning over $200,000 a year. Fun stuff, isn't it?

PATHOLOGICAL LIAR-IN-CHIEF PROVES HIMSELF AGAIN

Wondering why the Democrat's great new Financial Overhaul Bill doesn't apply to automobile dealers? One word .. Lobbyists. Didn't Obama tell us that lobbyists were going to be on the outs under his rule? Oh well .....once a liar, always a liar.  And lately everything this Presidential idiot does or says is a lie!

PATHOLOGICAL LIAR-IN-CHIEF CAUGHT AGAIN

Writing in the New York Times in November 2003, Austan Goolsbee, then a professor at the University of Chicago, flamboyantly accused the government of "cooking" the books regarding unemployment.  "The situation has grown so dire," he said, "that we can't even tell whether the job market is recovering. The time has come to correct the official unemployment statistics to account for those left out."

Professor Goolsbee is now a top economic advisor to President Obama. Would he admit that the official jobless of 9.5% grossly underestimates the pain of job losses in America and do something to correct the situation?  Findings in recent IBD/TIPP polls suggest that now would be a good time to undertake such a project.

According to Labor Department data, the civilian labor force in June totaled 153.7 million people, 14.6 million (9.5%) of whom were unemployed. But in the latest IBD/TIPP poll conducted last week, 28.6% of respondents said at least one member of their household is unemployed and looking for work. This number for June was 27.8% and for May 28%.
When we project our household job-seekers rate and calculate the share of Americans who are unemployed and looking for work, we get a job-seeker rate of 24.1% for July for a total of 37 million Americans vs. the government's aforementioned 14.6 million.

Obama: Socialist, Liar and now...Egomaniac-in-Chief

Charles Krauthammer, the syndicated columnist based in Washington, commented recently on the "Egomaniac-in-Chief."    He pointed out how Obama habitually refers to Cabinet members and other high government officials as "my" — "my secretary of homeland security," "my national security team," "my ambassador." The more normal — and respectful — usage is to say "the," as in "the secretary of state." These are, after all, public officials sworn to serve the nation and the Constitution — not just the man who appointed them.

It's a stylistic detail, but quite revealing of Obama's exalted view of himself. Not surprising, perhaps, in a man whose major achievement before acceding to the presidency was writing two biographies — both about himself.

Obama is not the first president with a large streak of narcissism. But the others had equally expansive feelings about their country. Obama's modesty about America would be more understandable if he treated himself with the same reserve. What is odd is to have a president so convinced of his own magnificence — yet not of his own country's.

PATHOLOGICAL LIAR-IN-CHIEF STRIKES AGAIN

The Liar-in-Chief gave another speech on the economy and creation of jobs a few days ago at the White House.  It's nothing new: he's been telling these lies since 2008.

He said:  "Growth won't come from an economy where prosperity is based on fleeting bubbles of consumption, of debt. You can't rely on paper gains.  We've seen where that led us and we're not going back.  If we want to once again approach full employment and fuel real economic growth, then we need an end to the policies that got us here.  We need to lay a new and stronger foundation on which businesses can thrive and create jobs and rising incomes."

Can you believe this hypocrisy?  He's laid "a new and stronger foundation."

Rush Limbaugh said this about BO's comment:  "it seems to me, Mr. President, that we have already laid this "new stronger foundation,"... yours, and it's a disaster.  We're not going back?  We're gonna fuel real economic growth? We need to end the policies that got us here?  You ended those policies a long time ago, Mr. President.  The "policies that got us here" are yours, and you haven't ended your policies.  Mr. Obama's policies are the reason we are where we are economically."

RIGHT ON, RIGHT ON!    Again, Rush is right!

HAPPY "DEPENDENCE DAY!"

"The American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public's money."
-----------Alexis de Tocqueville, author of Democracy in America

And that is exactly what our Liar-in-Chief is doing to us with his Stimulus Bill, TARP, Cap & Trade Plan, etc.  Did you realize that only about 45% of the "emergency" stimulus fund has been spent?  The rest will be used to help Dems in their re-election campaigns.  THAT'S RIGHT...OUR MONEY!

REMEMBER THIS FROM OUR LIAR-IN-CHIEF?

"I can make a firm pledge. Under my plan, no family making less than $250,000 a year will see any form of tax increase. Not your income tax, not your payroll tax, not your capital gains taxes, not any of your taxes."

Well, he's already broken that pledge....but wait 'til next year.  You ain't seen nuthin' yet!

Bush tax cuts of 2001 and 2003 are set to expire at the end of 2010. Thus, if Congress doesn’t act, the relatively low income tax rates that we’ve been enjoying will soon be a thing of the past. They will be replaced by the pre-2001 tax brackets. In other words, the 10%, 15%, 25%, 28%, 33% and 35% tax brackets that we’ve grown accustomed to will be replaced by 15%, 28%, 31%, 36%, and 39.6% brackets. It’s hard to say exactly where the income cutoffs will lie, but if we base the numbers on the 2010 income tax brackets and add 3% for inflation, the 2011 tax brackets might look something like this:
Tax Bracket Married Filing Jointly Single
15% Bracket $0 – $70,040 $0 – $35,020
28% Bracket $70,040 – $141,419 $35,020 – $84,872
31% Bracket $141,419 – $215,528 $84,872 – $177,006
36% Bracket $215,528 – $384,860 $177,006 – $384,860
39.6% Bracket Over $384,860 Over $384,860

Capital gains tax changes

Beyond the increased federal income tax brackets, the capital gains tax rates will also be changing (and not for the better). The top rate for long-term capital gains will be rising from 15% to 20%, and the 0% rate for those in the lowest tax brackets will be replaced by a 10% long-term capital gains rate.

So much for "pledges" from this pathological LIAR!

THE LIARS AND HYPOCRITES STUMBLE AGAIN OVER GEN. PETRAEUS SELECTION

I'm sure you know by now that Obama relieved Gen. Stanley McChrystal of his command of the war in Afghanistan Wednesday because of insubordinate remarks by him and his aides in a Rolling Stone article published earlier this week.  But can you believe that this incompetent boob of a president is replacing McChrystal with Gen. David Petraeus....that’s right, this very same Gen. David Petraeus who was pillarized by the Bush hating senate Obamazombies and it's media minions for being a "sock puppet" for President Bush.

Strangely enough, MoveOn.org, the media face of the far-left, still had this Sept. 2007 ad up as of June 18, according to their Google cache. But if you go to http://pol.moveon.org/petraeus.html now, it’s gone. They kept it there for almost 3 years before taking it down....all of a sudden!

That's curious, wouldn't you say? You should check out the YouTube videos from the 2007 hearings on the viciousness of the Democrats against Petraeus---especially the lecture and grilling of the general by then senator, BO, who didn't even give Petraeus much of an opportunity to respond!  They just hated Bush so much that they were willing to sacrifice the security of our armed forces, and our country, to satisfy their own political ideology.

Now however, the BO media corp is promoting the word "brilliant" to falsify the Liar-in-Chiefs selection of Petraeus!  That's right...can you freakin believe the hypocrisy?  The media myrmidons: Chris Matthews, Olbermann, Schultz, Maddow, NBC,  ABC, CBS, MSNBC, et al, are drooling all over themselves when describing what a "brilliant" move this was by the Presidential Boob.

George Bush was portrayed as an idiot back in 2007 for nominating Gen. Petraeus (and for everything else he did).  So now they are trying to backtrack to make BO's appointment of Petraeus look like Jesus delivering the sermon on the mount!

So they blame Bush for everything wrong with the BO presidency, but do you see anyone giving Bush credit for picking out the best qualified general to run the war in the middle East?  And now they praise Petraeus for being the second coming of Christ, and have no choice but to acknowledge that Bush was right to appoint Petraeus...BUT THEY  ARE TRYING TO GIVE THE INCOMPETENT ONE ALL THE CREDIT FOR IT!  WHAT BLATANT LIARS AND HYPOCRITES THESE OBAMACRATS ARE!

OBAMA AND CRIST WORKING HARD TO SAVE OUR BEACHES

This dope...and Liar-in-Chief... has said he is "COMMITTED" to doing all he can to help prevent damage to the Gulf Coast from the oil spill.  His strategy must involve Pina Coladas and reading comic books.
What an A-hole!

This dickwad is also committed to help him save our state's beaches...by making a first hand inspection.  Can you please give us a break?

So guys, if you're so freakin' committed hows about waiving the Jones Act (like Bush did within 4 days after Katrina), and getting the Coast Guard to stop the inane routine safety inspections of the skimming barges that are actually doing something positive to help try and save the environment!!!!

WHY DOES ANYONE EVER BELIEVE THE LIES THAT COME OUT OF THIS PATHOLOGICAL LIAR'S MOUTH?

"Don't mistake activity for achievement."................Coach John Wooden

Shortly after he assumed office last year, the Pathological Liar-in-Chief instituted a pay freeze for top White House Aides earning more than $100,000, saying this would "restore that faith in government without which we cannot deliver the changes we were sent here to make."
# # # # #

According to an editorial in yesterday's Washington Examiner, under the Obama administration, the government is doing such a good job that it's decided to reward itself. Last year, Uncle Sam paid out $408 million in bonuses to 1.3 million federal workers, according to the Asbury Park Press, which obtained the information through a Freedom of Information Act request. That's about $80 million more than the previous year. About one in four federal workers received a bonus, and awards ranged from $25 to, in the case of one lucky State Department worker, $94,500.

That $408 million figure only counts bonuses that were handed out to about 65 percent of the federal work force. The FOI request didn't cover awards handed out by the Defense and Treasury departments, security agencies, the White House, Congress and various other federal agencies and commissions. In 2008, the last year information was available, the Department of Defense alone handed out $92 million in bonuses to its 687,000 employees.
Federal bonuses are being doled out liberally, even as federal salaries are exploding. From December 2007 through June 2009, the number of federal workers earning six figures increased from 14 to 19 percent. In 2008, average federal compensation, including pay and benefits, was $119,982 -- considerably more than the $59,909 average in the private sector, according to the Commerce Department's Bureau of Economic Analysis. In the midst of a brutal economic downturn that saw millions of jobs lost and unemployment soar above 10 percent, the Office of Personnel Management data shows the federal workforce actually added nearly 100,000 jobs from December 2008 to December 2009.
In theory, introduction of bonuses and pay-for-performance measures in the federal workforce was a positive reform. However, this boom in federal bonuses suggests an "all carrot and no stick" approach to federal performance. For bureaucrats, job security is a non-issue, and they already earn twice as much as an average American just for showing up to work.

Shortly after he assumed office last year, Obama instituted a pay freeze for top White House Aides earning more than $100,000, saying this would "restore that faith in government without which we cannot deliver the changes we were sent here to make." The president made it clear that he knows egregious federal salaries are a problem, yet he's done little beyond this symbolic gesture to address the problem. Actually doing something to rein in the runaway federal bureaucracy would be change taxpayers can believe in.

THIS HYPOCRITE AND PATHOLOGICAL LIAR NOW REALIZES THAT THE OIL SPILL HAS POLITICAL IMPLICATIONS

According to ABC News, Liar-in-Chief Obama is now reacting to the BP oil mess in precisely the way he said he didn't need to. After weeks of insisting that bringing rhetorical heat on BP executives wouldn't get anything done, that's just what he's starting to do. (Just like the typical hypocrite)

Now, a president who's known for his cool is looking for butts to kick. He's meeting with the same executives whose direct input he said he didn't think he needed, as his top aides telegraph growing frustration with their erstwhile partners at BP.

Nearly two months into the environmental calamity in the region, he's making his fourth visit to the Gulf region -- this time, spending an overnight and the better part of two days. (WOW...an overnighter! Now that'll fix the oil leak!)
He's capping it all by using one of the loudest megaphones a president possesses: a prime-time address Tuesday night, from the Oval Office.

Why the shift? The White House is beginning to realize that the political fallout of the oil spill is very real -- and holding office for a year and a half makes it harder to blame the previous administration for evident shortcomings. (But I'm sure he'll try to anyway)

Just as this liar and his top aides didn't fully grasp the scale of environmental fallout, they didn't comprehend the degree to which the response to the incident has evolved into a test of presidential leadership.

The president himself has voiced growing frustration over what he sees as a media-constructed storyline. Yet his actions now, in turning up the rhetorical heat and the personal involvement, play into that narrative. Little if anything the president says or does this week will do much -- to quote the president on what he's indicated he thinks the American people really want -- to "plug the damn leak." But the time for making friends is over.

And the time for more of his bullsh*t on the matter is just heating up!!!

BRACE YOURSELVES FOR MORE SPIN AND LIES

Obama to address nation this week on oil spill

The Associated Press
June 13, 2010

WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama plans an Oval Office speech Tuesday night about the Gulf of Mexico oil spill.

White House adviser David Axelrod says Obama will talk about the disaster after he returns from a visit to the region on Monday and Tuesday.

Axelrod tells NBC's "Meet the Press" that the president will lay out steps that the government will take to cope with the fallout from the spill.

LIAR-IN-CHIEF JUST TOO "effen" BUSY TO ADDRESS GULF OIL SPILL!

To Hell with the environmental issues, the fishing and tourist industries, the oil soaked pelicans and turtles, and the destruction of our pristine beaches, Obama obviously has more important things going on.

As Ron Hart, Columnist and Humorist, so accurately described it..."Since the oil spill, Obama has hosted the Duke University basketball team, "worked on his jump shot each day," flown to California to raise money for Barbara Boxer, let Mexico's President Calderon to berate us in our own house, and spent a long weekend in Chicago. Some say he is not engaged in the oil spill catastrophe. In his defense, I think he is following it on Twitter. OMG!"

HART forgot to also mention the time he spent talking to lobbyists, union officials and his democratic myrmidons on ways to tax us more.

THIS PATHOLOGICAL LIAR-IN-CHIEF SETS NEW BOTTOM FOR EXTREME ARROGANCE

During his commencement speech at Kalamazoo Central High School in Michigan last Monday, the Pathological Liar-in-Chief (PLIC) said:

"Don't make excuses. Take responsibility not just for your successes, but for your failures as well. The truth is, no matter how hard you work, you won't necessarily ace every class or succeed in every job. There will be times when you screw up, when you hurt the people you love, when you stray from your most deeply held values.  And when that happens, it's the easiest thing in the world to start looking around for someone to blame. Your professor was too hard, your boss was a jerk, the coach was playing favorites, your friend just didn't understand. We see it every day out in Washington, with folks calling each other names and making all sorts of accusations on TV."

He told the students that "pointing fingers,"  "making excuses." and "blaming parents" and everyone else in their lives is not the road to follow.

AND YET THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT HE DOES OVER AND OVER AGAIN.  CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS ARROGANCE?

For the last year and a half, the PLIC has been using Bush as a scapegoat for everything from the increase in national debt, and our unemployment situation to America's image abroad...and for every other problem his administration is confronted with.

Someone (Malia, where are you?  Talk to him again while he is shaving) should tell him to pull his head out of his royal ass and be more truthful because he's not fooling anybody anymore with his two-faced lies except himself.  Where the hell is the media on this???.

THIS LIAR DOES NOT WANT TO GET THE COUNTRY BACK ON THE RIGHT TRACK!

Thanks to Neal Boortz for these thoughts.

Last week our federal debt surpassed $13  trillion...and the average debt per citizen has soared to $42,144.    This is the first time in history that our country has sunk this much  into the red. Say what you will about the spending of previous  administrations, but there is no doubt that B. O. and the Democrats  running the economic show in Congress are on a high-speed track to  America's financial destruction.

Since the inept Community Organizer has taken the reins in  Washington, our government has spent an average of $5 billion a day.  That is almost three times as much as the daily average under George W.  Bush. This means that so far under Obama's presidency, our national debt  has risen $2.4 trillion.

Recently, BO had harsh words for the GOP .. he criticized them for  sitting on the sidelines and not offering any solutions. Perhaps Obama  should direct some of that anger towards his fellow Democrats in  Congress who have refused to vote on a budget this year. Other than  defending our nation, is there a more primary function of government  than setting a basic budget for operations? While Obama has managed to  appoint a debt commission, what real action do you see the Democrats  trying to take in tackling our debt crisis? The answer is that you  don't. That's because this is a crisis that isn't going to win them  votes. It isn't going to win them re-election or union support or local  memorials in their honor. It is going to be an issue that takes real  guts - it is going to take politicians who are not there because they  seek power, but because they want to get this country back on track.  Where can you find such selfless people nowadays? Sure ain't the people  currently running the show.

While we are bemoaning the $13 trillion debt, this is a great column  from Caroline Baum at Bloomberg News:

"We feel for this  mom whose work options are limited by the need to care for her  3-year-old daughter. We all know someone who has been left jobless,  financially strapped and emotionally bereft by the recession. Yet, at  the risk of sounding hard-hearted, the U.S. can't afford to provide  everyone with food, clothing and shelter, not to mention medical and  child care, college tuition, a low-interest mortgage and a Social  Security check until death.

As much as this single mom's plight tugs at our heart strings,  using deficit financing to provide her with government subsidized child  care is dangerous to her child's health. That child will have to  shoulder the bill. That's the pain we don't feel or hear about; the pain  that doesn't make its way into news stories, at least not in human  terms; the pain that's no less real, just less pressing."

Do you get the point? Things may be a bit rough for us right now  no thanks to this idiot president and his moronic administration , but  do you realize the burden we're putting on our children to ease the pain  for ourselves?  Wouldn't a loving parent suffer the pain right now so  that their children might have a better life? The pain is no less real.  It is a pain that doesn't make the front page of the news. Forget  swimming pools or choking hazards. Our federal debt may be the single  greatest danger to your child's health.

OBAMA BLAMES EVERYONE EXCEPT HIS OWN SORRY ASS!

I could'nt have said this better myself!  Thanks to Nikki Richards for this gem  (http://nikkirichards.blogspot.com/)

If ever there was a PHD in blaming, a masters in blame ed, a bachelors in blame art, a king of blameland, a President of blameville, a sultan of blameistan, a guru of blameology, a prime minister of blamolia, the Czar of blamehood, a pimp for the blame, a pusher of blame drugs, an addict of crack co-blame, a blazer of blame trails, a real housewife of blame City, a resident of blame avenue, the next blame network star and the winner of blame Idol, it would be Barack I blame my mama Obama. He is the grand master daddy of the blame and I love it that the Barack Iblame Bushama points those skinny fingerling's at other blamers. I like the blame. I am for blame legislation. I think it should be mandated to blame everyone but whomever lives in the White House because when you live there you are the equivelant to the pope, or dare I say, Jesus. Blame the weather, blame the banks, blame the consumers, blame the citizens, blame the media, blame the republicans, blame the racists, blame global warming, blame global cooling, blame the fat kids, blame the devil, blame wall street, blame GEORGE W. BUSH, but good grief Charlie Brown DO NOT blame Barry!! "The finger pointing must stop!" exclaims President Obama, "It's making me look really, really bad guys." No President O'blame-ya, you make you look bad. Stop trying to play Miss Julie with the Oil dudes and do something other than give a speech about how we all suck and you rock. Or go play golf for 2 years and leave the country alone. You have done enough to muck America up. I would rather you just redbox your way through the rest of your Presidency at this point. Oops...blamed. My bad.

What a pile of horse-squeeze!  When was the last time he looked back on one of his speeches?  In fact,  just last week he blamed unemployment (nearly 10%) on George Bush and all we have heard for two years from him and the Dems blaming all their failures on Bush.  It won't be long before he declares that this is Bush's fault too (actually Chris Mathews blamed it on Cheney the other day...guess thats close enough) Can't wait until these morons get voted out of office.

MORE STUPIDITY FROM THE LIAR-IN-CHIEF

At last week's commencement ceremony at Hampton College, our dumbass president remarked that Xbox and Playstation are sources of information that distract us (from listening to him perhaps?).

His eyes must have wandered off the teleprompter because anybody with an I.Q. higher than your average turnip knows that Xbox and Playstation are games...and not sources of information.

This is the dumbass who as Commander-in-Chief doesn't even know that corpseman isn't pronounced "corpse-man" and thinks he visited 57 states during his campaign! And they make fun of George Bush...when this clown is even dumber IN SPITE OF his phony arrogant "intelligence".

OBAMA: VILLAGE IDIOT SAYS "NO" TO N-WORD, BUT OK TO "TEA-BAGGER" WORD

This from the Washington Times (for the entire article go to:   http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2010/may/05/strong-brew/)

The term "tea-bagger" is like uttering the "n" word, some say. Though he aspires to promote civility, evidence has surfaced that President Obama has added "tea-bagger" to his public lexicon, though it's considered a cheap and tawdry insult by "tea party" activists. Watchdogs at Americans for Tax Reform (ATR) barked when they saw the proof, tucked in a sneak peak of Newsweek columnist Jonathan Alter's new book, "The Promise: President Obama, Year One," to be released May 18. Indeed, it appears the president joined certain partisan critics and the liberal media, and took the tea-bag plunge.

"This remark is the equivalent of using the 'n' word. It shows contempt for middle America, expressed knowingly, contemptuously, on purpose, and with a smirk. It is indefensible to use this word. The president knows what it means, and his people know what it means. The public thought we reached a new low of incivility during the Clinton administration. Well, the Obama administration has just outdone them," ATR president Grover Norquist tells Inside the Beltway.

The offending passage that started the tea-bagger shuffle? Mr. Alter wrote, "Obama said that the unanimous House vote against the Recovery Act 'set the tenor for the whole year': 'That helped to create the tea-baggers and empowered that whole wing of the Republican Party to where it now controls the agenda for the Republicans.' TAX CHEAT GEITHNER SUPPORTS LIES IN GM AD

"We have repaid our government loans in full, with interest, five years ahead of schedule."

According to the Washington Examiner editorial on May 3, this blatant lie is being repeated daily in a national advertising campaign featuring General Motors Chairman, Ed Whitacre. (He is referring to $49.5 billion the Treasury Department gave GM in last year's bailout. In return, Treasury got a 60.8 percent common equity stake in GM, $2.1 billion in preferred stock and $7.1 billion in GM debt.)

Whitacre sounds convincing in a down-home sort of way in the TV spot, but the reality is that this statement is a blatant misrepresentation. And Whitacre knows it. He's probably not worried about that fact, however, because it was endorsed by none other than Secretary of the Treasury and renown tax cheat, Timothy Geithner, who issued a supportive statement saying, "We are encouraged that GM has repaid its debt well ahead of schedule and confident that the company is on a strong path to viability."

Here are the facts, according to Neil Barofsky, inspector general for the Troubled Assets Relief Program. His most recent quarterly report explained that, "the source of funds for these quarterly [debt] payments will be other TARP funds currently held in an escrow account."

In other words, as Reps. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., and Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, said in a letter to Whitacre, the GM chairman's words come "dangerously close to committing fraud. ... Your false statements may expose GM to millions of dollars in damages, further reducing the value of the taxpayer-owned company. The American people, as the majority shareholders of GM, have a right to know the truth behind the cost of the GM bailout and GM's genuine financial condition." Issa and Jordan are minority members of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, chaired by Rep. Edolphus Towns, D-N.Y. The Towns panel should put Whitacre and Geithner under oath and demand to know the facts behind this misrepresentation.

Nick Gillepsie, editor-in-chief of Reason Magazine and Reason TV, punches through the PR spin and misrepresentations from Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner and GM head Ed Whitacre:

OBAMA: BOLDFACE LIAR, VILLAGE IDIOT

This buffoon of a president is not only a boldface LIAR but he is also the Village IDIOT!  Here he is in action spewing out his lies about the IMMEDIACY of passing the stimulus bill (which appropriately should be called the Dream and Wish Fulfillment of Democrats Long Postponed Pork Projects Bill)...2/3 of which has not even been spent yet (so, really, how urgent was it to get passed?  And how successful was it in keeping job loss under 8% ?).

Then the village idiot last week makes the statement that the stimulus funding will be repaid at the rate of $100,000 per year!  Impressive, huh?  Uh, do the math.  At that rate it would take 7,870,000 payments.  HOW STUPID IS THAT?

The media ridiculed Pres. Bush mercilessly and labeled him a fool over and over again.  And yet this very same media cares to call out Obama on this ridiculous statement (or about his statement about 57 states during his campaign).

C'mon media...let's start doing your job in a fair and objective manner by pointing out how this jerk of a president is actually dumber than you claimed Bush was.

A LETTER TO THE LIAR-IN-CHIEF AND AMERICA FROM JON VOIGHT

Jon Voight was a guest on the Mike Huckabee show on April 10th, 2010. On the show he read an open letter to America and to Barack Obama where he discussed the future of America and the need for us all to get involved in our individual states Tea-Party movement in order to save our nation.

Below is the text of the letter:

-----------------------------------------

“In one year, the American people are witnessing the greatest lie that is cleverly orchestrated by President Obama and his whole administration. The lie is a potent aggression that feeds the needs of people who either have not educated themselves enough to understand the assault upon us all or the very poor and needy who live to be taken care of.

President Obama feeds these people poison, giving them the idea that they are entitled to take from the wealthier who have lived and worked in a democracy that understands that capitalism is the only truth that keeps a nation healthy and fed. Now the lie goes very deep and President Obama has been cleverly trained in the Alinsky method and it would be very important that every American knows what that method is.

It is a socialistic, Marxist teaching and with it, little by little, he rapes this nation, taking down our defenses, making new language for the Islamic extremists. The world looked up to us as a symbol of hope and prosperity now wonders what will become of the entire world if America is losing its power.

The American people who understand exactly what is taking place have come together in the thousands, vowing to try to stay together as a unit of love and freedom for all men and women, from all walks of life, shivering to think that this once great nation will be a third world country.

This will be the first president to ever weaken the United States of America. President Obama uses his aggression and arrogance for his own agenda, against the will of the American people when he should be using his will and aggression against our enemies.

Every loving American for peace and truth and the security of our nation must come out and join the Tea Parties in their states. The opposition will continue their tactics; they will lie and plant their own bullies amongst us. Everyone must pay close attention to who stands next to them. We can weed out the liars and agitators.

Let us all stay in Gods light. Let no man put asunder. We can and we will prevail. God bless us all!”

OUTRAGEOUS GOVERNMENT LIES AND HYPOCRISY THROUGH FUZZY MATH!

The Congressional Budget Office is estimating "cuts" in Medicare spending but what they don't actually tell you is that Medicare spending is still going to increase. But in government math, you can say that you "cut" spending by merely not spending as much as you once said you were going to. If you did your family budgeting the way the feds calculate spending "cuts" you could say that you were going to spend $10,000 more on home improvements next year than you spent this year. Then, when financial reality slaps you in the chops, you decide to cut that spending increase back to $8,000. You then proudly announce you are cutting spending on home improvements by $2000 next year.

Imagine if you got to do the same thing with your tax return. Not many of us received raises last year because of an economy weakened by bad government policy. But let's say you were one of the lucky ones (a government employee, perhaps?) and you got a $5,000 raise. Unfortunately, Uncle Sam is going to want a big chunk of that additional money.

Here's where CBO accounting would be a big help. Why don't you assume that you were going to get a raise of $10,000. Because your pay "only" went up by $5,000, you can claim your pay was reduced. The IRS will come down on you like a ton of bricks, but you can tell the agents as they cart you away that you were following official government methodology. I guess such lies only work for the government!

OUTRAGEOUS EXAMPLES OF MEDIA LIES ANDHYPOCRISY!

Check out this video compilation, “The Media's Public Enemy No. 1: Critics of ObamaCare,” with the most-outrageous instances of journalists painting the tea party movement, talk radio, and Republicans as dangerous radicals inciting violence against Democrats. I guess they forgot all about their hate filled rhetoric and campaign posters against George Bush in the 2004 election campaign (See my post of  9/19/09 regarding Dem Hate Speech).  Here's an example:

These people blatantly lie through their teeth. Are they stupid (in Olbermann's case, the answer is YES) or just dummy puppets for their liberal bosses?  I noted in all these reports that not one example was given of that which they are talking about.  NOT ONE!  As if we are to blindly accept what they are telling us!

This is all made-up "hooey. It is a bunch of unproven lies made up to follow along with Democratic talking points distributed the media myrmidons.  These people have no shame or dignity.  I believe they are making this an issue to deflect criticism away from the healthcare bill which BO just signed. Here's the best evidence -- in a video highlighting how the three broadcast networks and the cable channels all jumped on board the bandwagon of smearing conservatives as angry hate-mongers, in order to discredit broad-based legitimate opposition to the unpopular legislation.

MORE LIES ABOUT OBAMACARE

On the campaign trail President Obama said the "public will have five days to look at every bill that lands on my desk" before he signs it into law.  Well he lied to us again about this healthcare bill...as he has done so many times before.  Since the Bill was approved late Sunday night, and he is signing it today (Tuesday), there is a bit of a disconnect there.  He magically changed 120 hours into 36.  Gee, I wonder how that could happen judging from the moral integrity of this Liar-in-Chief!  I wish he could reduce our deficits similarly.

Obama promised sunlight is the best disinfectant??? Too bad people in Washington don't wear sunglasses- the sun never shines there. He lied to America. This is NOT a more open and transparent government.  It is a closed-door, secret-meetings, sneaky-snakes, liars and cheats type of government.  And did you pay attention to the morons in the background cheering wildly as they swallowed every syllable of his bullshit?

MORE LIES ABOUT OBAMACARE EXPOSED BY A SENATOR

Sen. LeMieux Busts 10 Myths Surrounding Health Care Reform Debate

WASHINGTON - U.S. Senator George LeMieux (R-FL) today called attention to a number of myths that have become part of the health care debate as if they were fact. Senator LeMieux made his remarks on the floor of the Senate this evening.
"We know this comprehensive proposal will not reduce costs for Americans, it will not guarantee that you can keep your health care plan if you like it, and it does not truly reduce the deficit," said LeMieux. "These proposed reforms will take half a trillion dollars from Medicare, they will not reduce the demands on emergency rooms, and they will only go after fraud at the edges."

BACKGROUND ON BUSTED MYTHS:

MYTH 1: YOU CAN KEEP YOUR HEALTH INSURANCE IF YOU LIKE IT
• As recently as today, President Obama has said, "If you have a plan you like, you can keep it."
A: Employers will drop coverage
• CBO says, "Between 8 million and 9 million other people who would be covered by an employment based plan under current law would not have an offer of such coverage under the proposal." Because of the employer mandate some businesses would likely drop existing coverage or fail to offer new coverage.
• Rick Foster, the CMS actuary says this number could be even higher. He concluded that 17 million people will lose their employer-sponsored coverage. Many smaller employers would be, "inclined to terminate their existing coverage" so their workers could qualify for "heavily subsidized coverage" through the exchange.
B: Medicare Advantage will be downgraded
• Foster also says, "Lower benchmarks would reduce Medicare Advantage rebates to plans and thereby result in less generous benefit packages. We estimate that in 2015...enrollment in Medicare Advantage plans would decrease by about 33 percent (from a projected level of 13.7 million under current law to 9.2 million under the proposal)."
C: Mandates will usher in era of one-size-fits all health care system
• Mandates eliminate patient choice and force Americans onto certain plans.

MYTH 2: YOUR HEALTH INSURANCE PREMIUMS WILL GO DOWN
• One of the President's earliest stated goals was to control health care costs, including lowering insurance premiums.
• CBO estimates that a majority of Americans who receive their insurance through an employer will notice only a negligible impact on their premiums. Essentially, this is a continuation of the status quo.
• Those who buy their own insurance from the individual market can expect premiums to rise.
• According to CBO, "Average premiums per policy in the non-group market in 2016 would be roughly $5,800 for single policies and $15,200 for family policies under the proposal, compared with roughly $5,500 for single policies and $13,100 for family policies under current law. The weighted average of the differences in those amounts equals the change of 10 percent to 13 percent in the average premium per person summarized above..."

MYTH 3: DEMS' PLAN WILL LOWER COSTS
• In today's Washington Post, Robert Samuelson takes on the President's claim that his plan will control costs.
• Samuelson writes: "When people get insurance, they use more health services. Spending rises. By the government's latest forecast, health spending goes from 17 percent of the economy in 2009 to 19 percent in 2019. Health ‘reform' would probably increase that."
• According to the CMS actuary, "We estimate that overall national health expenditures under this bill would increase by an estimated total of $222 billion (0.6 percent) during calendar years 2010-2019."
• It would also increase the government's share of health care spending. According to CBO, "Under the legislation, federal outlays for health care would increase...by about $210 billion" during the 2010-2019 period.
• For all of its 2,000 pages, the bill does not include ideas to lower costs:
o No transparency;
o No consumer-driven ideas for reducing costs,
o No changes to laws prohibiting purchases across state lines
• Real reform should include medical malpractice reform, which according to CBO, could save as much as $54 billion over the next decade -10 times more than previously estimated.

MYTH 4: DEMS' PLAN WILL REDUCE THE DEFICIT
• The Senate bill relies on budget gimmickry to achieve what appears to be a deficit reduction, but will actually result in another mountain of crushing government spending.
A: Six years of spending/10 years of taxes
• CBO Director Douglas Elmendorf wrote in his December 19, 2009 letter to Senator Reid, "A detailed year-by-year projection for years beyond 2019, like those that CBO prepares for the 10-year budget window, would not be meaningful because the uncertainties involved are simply too great."
• CBO has also said, "Under the legislation, federal outlays for health care would increase during the 2010-2019 period, as would the federal budgetary commitment to health care."
B: Budget-buster for states
• The proposal also forces states that cannot afford their current Medicaid programs to contribute tens of billions more to fund new coverage expansions beginning in 2018.
• Tennessee Democratic Gov. Phil Bredesen called it, "the mother of all unfunded mandates."
• The head of Washington State's Medicaid program believes that states facing severe financial distress may say, "I have to get out of the Medicaid program altogether."
• CBO released its first estimate of expected discretionary spending under the Senate-passed bill, confirming the $10-20 billion in discretionary spending over the next decade to implement the legislation - $5-10 billion each for the IRS and HHS.
• CBO also estimates an additional $55.6 billion in discretionary spending on the various grant programs authorized (but not appropriated) in the measure.
C: Will be a trillion-dollar program
• The total to enact health "reform" will easily exceed $1 trillion.
• Government programs rarely cost less than projected.
• The White House has not explained how all this new discretionary spending comports with the President's plan for a spending "freeze" over the next three years.

MYTH 5: MEDICARE CUTS WON'T AFFECT SENIORS
• The bill cuts a half a trillion dollars from Medicare, including nearly $120 billion from Medicare Advantage, which delivers a range of health care options to nearly 11 million seniors, almost one-quarter of those enrolled in the Medicare program.
A: Effect on Medicare
• In his letter to Senator Reid, CBO Director Douglas Elmendorf wrote that the effects of the cuts to Medicare remain unclear, but warned that they could "reduce access to care or diminish the quality of care."
• These cuts include:
o $135 billion from hospitals
o $120 billion from Medicare Advantage
o Nearly $15 billion from nursing homes
o Nearly $40 billion from home health agencies
o Nearly $7 billion from hospices
• The CMS Actuary says that many of the Medicare cuts are "unrelated to the providers' costs of furnishing services to beneficiaries." He concludes that it is "doubtful" that providers could reduce costs to keep up with the cuts.
• The CMS actuary also finds that because of the bill's severe cuts to Medicare, "providers for whom Medicare constitutes a substantive portion of their business could find it difficult to remain profitable and might end their participation in the program (possibly jeopardizing access to care for beneficiaries)."
• Because of the increased demand for health care, the Actuary says that access to care problems are "plausible and even probable" under the Reid bill.
B: Doctors are turning away patients
• According to a June 2008 Medicare Payment Advisory Commission report, 29 percent of the Medicare beneficiaries it surveyed who were looking for a primary care doctor had a problem finding one to treat them - up from 24 percent in 2007.
C: Florida
• Florida is disproportionately affected since it has the second highest population of seniors and the highest concentration of seniors in the nation at 19 percent.
• Ron Malone, Vice President of Gentiva Health Services expects these cuts to devastate home health care in Florida.
• The Florida Medical Association - the largest physician's association in Florida with nearly 20,000 members says, "...this legislation does not adequately fix what's wrong with our current system. It contains many provisions that would allow government bureaucrats to interfere with patient care decisions and actually raises the cost of health insurance unnecessarily."

MYTH 6: EMERGENCY ROOMS WILL BE LESS BURDENED
• According to the Urban Institute, after Massachusetts adopted a somewhat similar plan, emergency-room use remained higher than the national average.
• More than two-fifths of these visits were for non-emergencies. And of these, a majority of the adult respondents said it was "more convenient" to check into the E.R. because they were not able to get in to see a doctor.
• Massachusetts' plan has worsened the state's doctor shortage. The Massachusetts Hospital Association found that two thirds of hospitals say their community has too few primary care clinicians.
• The 2008 Massachusetts Medical Society Report found that 12 of the 18 physician specialties had, "critical or severe shortages." The problems were particularly acute in the family and internal medicine fields.
• The percentage of family medicine physicians no longer accepting new patients rose from 25 percent in 2006 to 35 percent in 2008.
• Waiting times increased from an average of 15 days in 2008 to 18 in 2009.
• With a shortage of doctors in rural communities nationwide, such a plan on a national scale will only make matters worse.

MYTH 7: THE DEMS' PLAN TAKES ON INSURANCE COMPANIES
• Contains tax credit for insurance companies. According to the Senate Finance Committee's report, "The premium tax credit, which is refundable and payable in advance directly to the insurer, subsidizes the purchase of certain health insurance plans through the state exchanges."

MYTH 8: BILL TAKES UNPRESCEDENTED STEPS IN FIGHTING HEALTH CARE FRAUD, WASTE, AND ABUSE
• The bill only continues the pay-and-chase method of fighting Medicare fraud, waste, and abuse.
• I believe more money can be saved on the front end. There is a more efficient way of fighting the estimated $60 billion lost through waste, fraud, and abuse each year.
• We can look no further than the private sector for innovative ways to save money and stop wasting Americans' hard-earned dollars.
A: S.2128
• Under my plan, we adopt the predictive modeling used by the credit card industry.
• Predictive modeling has realized as much as a 30 to 1 return on investment in the financial services industry.
• Using predictive modeling, the credit card industry loses about 7 cents for every 100 dollars transacted due to fraud, a fraction of 1 percent of total transactions. Medicare, on the other hand, loses 1 out of every 7 dollars or approximately 14 percent of the entire payouts.
B: Background checks
• My plan will stop fraud before the checks are sent out - ensuring the people rendering medical services or selling medical devices are not criminals.
• According to independent estimates, once the system is fully operational, my plan would result in the savings of $22 to $35 billion per year.
• Predictive modeling is not limited to the financial services industry. In fact, private health care companies have saved millions of dollars after implementing this technology. The Federal government can, too.

MYTH 9: DEMS' HEALTH CARE REFORM WILL NOT IMPACT PATIENT-DOCTOR RELATIONSHIP
• I agree with my colleague, Dr. Barasso, who supports a patient-centered approach.
• Real health care reform should ensure a doctor and a patient can work together toward the best health for that patient.
• This bill will increase costs for patients, create more bureaucratic headaches for doctors, and result in an America where the health of our people is only as good as the health of our nation's balance sheet.

MYTH 10: TAXES WILL NOT GO UP
• This bill is a jobs bill for the tax collector.
• National Federation of Independent Businesses - I talked with the Florida NFIB members and they have great concern about this bill and the impact the taxes will have.
• The NFIB released a statement on their Web site on December 8 expressing their opposition to the Reid bill: "When evaluating health care reform options, small business owners ask themselves two specific questions. First, will the bill lower insurance costs? Second, will the bill increase the overall cost of doing business? In both cases, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act fails the small business test and, therefore, fails small business."
• If you have insurance...you get taxed.
• If you DON'T have insurance...you get taxed.
• If you need prescription drugs...you get taxed.
• If you need a medical device...you get taxed.
• If you have high out-of-pocket health expenses...you get taxed.
• Some of these taxes go into effect right away, while the majority of the benefits do not kick in for 4 years.

MORE LIES ABOUT FINANCING OBAMACARE

As we all are aware now, this mope of a president lies every time he opens his mouth.  But his bullshit about financing his healthcare plan is his biggest--and potentially--most damaging pile of lies to date. Neal Boortz says he is going to try to explain some of the lies that Obama and the Democrats are telling the nation about the cost of ObamaCare. According to Boortz, Obama has a tough problem. He promised that ObamaCare would not increase our deficit by one dime. Well he knows that it will - anyone with the brains of a mongoose knows that it will - so he needs a narrative that will work for just a week or two that some of the more intellectually challenged people in this country will buy .... will buy until it's too late.

I'm beating my head against the keyboard here ... let's see of I can come up with another way to explain some of these points;  Obama is touting the fact that the Congressional Budget Office is estimating that Obamacare (The Senate Version) will reduce the budget by $118 billion over 10 years. Fine ... let's look at that.

First ... (and I'm guessing 95% of the American people don't realize this), Over the first 10 years, ObamaCare will provide only six years of benefits, though the new taxes will be levied for the entire 10 years. Would you lease a new car if you were told that your lease payments would begin immediately but you wouldn't be able to actually get the car for four years, and then you would only be able to drive it for six? What is the salesman going to use those four years of payments for? OK ... follow me on this. Your lease is up right now. You need to lease a new car for 10 years. One lease company tells you that the new lease is going to cost you $400 per month of $48,000 over the term of the lease. You go to another dealership and there you find a salesman who tells you that he can bring that cost down. Under his lease deal you're only going to have to pay $350 per month. This means that over 10 years you are going to save $6,000. Wow! What a deal! Trouble is, you can't pick up the car until you've been making these payments for four years. Ten years of payments - six years of benefits. Sure ... who can't save money that way?
Oh .. by the way, during those first four years you're going to have to find something to drive, aren't you? You think that will be free? Well, it's not exactly like your health care is going to be free for the next four years until ObamaCare kicks in, is it?
Then there's this ... Much of the money the Democrats are using to claim deficit reduction with ObamaCare come from increases in Medicare and Social Security taxes. There are also some taxes that will be collected up front to pay for the CLASS Act ... a long-term care entitlement program buried in the Senate bill. These extra taxes are needed to pay for these entitlements. If you borrow them from the trust funds for Social Security, Medicare and the CLASS act you are merely increasing debt. Is that the way we want to play this? We borrow money from future generations of Americans and
Next ... The Democrats will tell you that the CBO says ObamaCare will reduce the deficit by $1 trillion in the second decade. The CBO denies this. According to the CBO the "uncertainties involved are simply too great" to make a prediction.
"Insurance premiums will fall" Oh really? How's that? Subsidies, that's how. The government will take money from one sector of our private economy and give it to people to pay part of their insurance premiums. What's more, the Democrats are calling this a "tax cut." Think about that. Under ObamaCare, subsidies become "tax cuts." No .. premiums won't fall. They'll go up. But when the government seizes money from someone else and gives it to you to pay health insurance premiums, in your world the premiums are going down.

THIS WOMAN IS DUMBER THAN A LOAD OF BRICKS......

.....AND SHE'S 2ND IN LINE FOR THE PRESIDENCY!  GOD HELP US!

According to Neal Boortz, Nancy Pelosi truly has to be one of the most brain-dead politicians in Washington. You aren't going to believe what came out of her mouth yesterday during a speech she delivered for the National Association of Counties. She is talking about Congress passing healthcare reform and she says ...
"But we have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it, away from the fog of the controversy."
Are you getting this? Americans won't be able to truly understand ObamaCare until ObamaCare becomes law! Pardon me, Madam Speaker, but there are a few of us who would like to know what is in this bill BEFORE you pass it. Did that thought ever cross your mind? Do you REALLY think that we, the American people, are going to trust you and the Democrats to create a bill that is in our best interests? I didn't think so. This is why the Democrats want to pass healthcare and they want to pass it ... yesterday. They don't want you to find out what is really in the bill until after it is signed into law.

YOU JUST GOTTA SEE THIS!

The two-faced, lying hypocrites (better known as democrats) had their undies in knots in 2005 when the Republicans used Reconciliation to pass some bills.  Why they screamed like sanctimonious prophets of a higher life form that anyone would sink to such low levels to get their way in Congress.  It was so disgusting and repulsive for Republicans to do this that they virtually swore that they would never sink that low. Well now watch this and watch true hypocrisy in action!

UNIONS PULL THE B.O. PUPPET'S STRINGS...

...HE'S JUST A CHIMP ON A LEASH TRAINED TO DO THE UNION'S BIDDING FOR A FEW BANANAS!

WHY THE HELL DO YOU SUPPOSE THAT ANDY STERN, THE HEAD OF SEIU UNION, VISITED THE WHITE HOUSE 28 TIMES (WHICH IS MORE THAN ANYONE ELSE) SINCE B.O. MOVED IN? AND HE IS NOT EVEN A REGISTERED LOBBYIST! SO WHAT THE HELL COULD THEY HAVE BEEN TALKING ABOUT? THE WEATHER? GLOBAL WARMING? OR PERHAPS HOW HEALTHCARE COULD BE NATIONALIZED AND CONTROLLED BY UNIONS? THEN THE ENTIRE COUNTRY COULD BE CONTROLLED FOREVER BY UNIONS AND DEMOCRATS. YOU DECIDE. BUT THIS IS VERY SCARY!

Here's what Neal Boortz said about it: "It looks like Obama is going to try to Rham through his ObamaCare .. never mind that only 25% of the people in this country want the bill passed. To do this he's going to use the reconciliation process in the Senate. Essentially this means that ObamaCare would be passed with a simple majority vote .. and the filibuster could not be used."

(OF COURSE, HOW ELSE COULD HE SERVE HIS MASTERS...THE UNIONS?  HE CERTAINLY ISN'T SERVING US, THE AMERICAN PEOPLE  )

"I thought it might be fun to compare two quotes from The Community Organizer. The first was from a Senate debate in 2005. You will remember that Obama was in the Senate ... he was there a whole 143 days before he decided he was ready to be the President of the United States. In 2005 the Republicans were getting a little fed up with the Democrats blocking so many judicial nominees. To get these nominees confirmed the Republicans would have to get by the filibuster. Obama didn't like that idea at all ... not even a little bit; so from the floor of the Senate our future president has this to say:

"... ahhh .. and ... what I worry about would be that th-th-you-eh-essentially have still two chambers, the House and the Senate but you have simply majoritarian ... ahhh ... absolute power on either side and that's not what the founders intended."

OK .. he's right. The founders intended for it to be extremely difficult to get legislation through the Senate. It seems to work .. .most times. But those were Obama's feelings in 2005 when he was on the side .. the Democrat side .. that wanted to use the filibuster to block Bush judicial nominees. Now things are different. It's the Republicans who are doing the blocking and it's Obama who wants the filibuster bypassed so that he can get his ObamaCare through. So ... what is Obmaa saying now? It's really pretty simple:

"I think most Americans think a majority vote makes sense."

Well now, isn't that absolutely typical? Hey ... I'll be fair here and admit that for both Republicans and Democrats alike, the virtue of the filibuster depends entirely on whether or not you approve of the legislation being filibustered."

(BUT WHAT IS CERTAIN IS THAT THIS ADMINISTRATION IS A PACK OF CORRUPT LIARS DOING EVERYTHING THEY CAN TO REPAY THE UNIONS FOR HELPING THEM GET ELECTED...AND TO PRESERVE THEIR CONTROL OVER US AD INFINITUM!     See the following post as follow-up)
.

MORE LIES REGARDING THIS CORRUPT ADMINISTRATION....

The Rangel swamp

Chicago Tribune, February 27, 2010

The House ethics committee slapped Rep. Charles Rangel's wrist Thursday, admonishing the New York Democrat for improperly accepting corporate-funded trips to Caribbean conferences in 2007 and 2008. The committee said it couldn't prove Rangel knew about the corporate money, but said his staff sure knew and Rangel should have known.

You would have thought the signs and materials from Citigroup, Pfizer, American Airlines, AT&T, Verizon, Macy's and IBM plastered around the 2008 conference in St. Maarten would have provided a clue that corporate money was involved. But apparently Rangel was clueless. His response to the ethics committee's admonishment? He criticized the committee and blamed his staff. "Common sense dictates that members of Congress should not be held responsible for what could be the wrongdoing or mistakes or errors of staff," he said. What a stand-up guy.

This is hardly the end of the ethical problems facing the chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee. The ethics committee has been investigating Rangel at a glacial pace for numerous ethical violations, but has yet to rule on other, even more serious, charges. These include his belated financial disclosure of up to $1 million in financial assets, tens of thousands of dollars in municipal bonds and up to $100,000 in rent from a New York apartment building; using his congressional letterhead to solicit money for the Charles B. Rangel Center for Public Service at the City College of New York; and illegally turning one of his four rent-controlled apartments in New York into a campaign office.

This ethical cloud has hung over Rangel, who runs one of the most powerful committees in Congress, for 18 months.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who promised to preside over the "most honest and open Congress in history," knows an ethics violation when she sees one. He's "ethically unfit to lead", she said.

Oh, wait, she didn't say that about Rangel. She said that about former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay when the House ethics committee admonished the Texas Republican in 2004. Thanks to politico.com for reprising her comments, we have this memorable Pelosi quote: "Republicans must answer: Do they want an ethically unfit person to be the majority leader or do they want to remove the ethical cloud that hangs over the Capitol?"

Good question that Democrats must answer, Madam Speaker. Her response Friday to the ethical cloud hanging over Rangel? "We'll just have to see what happens next." Really? What ought to happen next is Rangel relinquishes his gavel. Common sense dictates it.

MORE B.O. LIES EXPOSED REGARDING HEALTHCARE

Thanks to Neal Boortz for imparting this bit of wisdom about our Liar-in-Chief

Has Robert Gibbs managed to find the Republican's alternative to healthcare yet? I mean, c'mon folks ... did you hear Obama's press secretary the other day? He actually had the gonads to get up and say: "The president posted ideas of his on the White House website today. We hope Republicans will post their ideas either on their website, or we'd be happy to post them on ours, so that the American people could come to one location and find out the parameters of what will largely be discussed on Thursday."

The problem? The Republicans do have a plan listed on their website. In fact, their plan has been online since October. Not only that, but if you go to Whitehouse.gov you will see that the White House has even posted a link to the GOP plan. So ... what is going on here? After all, this isn't the first time that the Obama administration has told you that that the Republicans don't have any plans on healthcare. It doesn't help that the ObamaMedia continues to perpetuate this myth.
Odd, isn't it?

Here's what's going on. The Obama Administration is more than willing to flat-out lie if it will help them move forward with their plan to seize about 17% of the nation's economy. They know that if they continue to say that the Republicans have no plan - if they continue to hammer home the lie that the Republicans haven't put anything on their website - most of the people out there will just simply believe them. Very few people will say "Hey, I wonder if he's telling us the truth here. I think I'll go check the Republican website for myself." Ain't gonna happen, and Robert Gibbs knows it.

The truth? GOP lawmakers have proposed more than 30 of their own bills. Rep. Tom Price and fellow House Republicans of the Republican Study Committee have proposed all of these bills within the last year: H.R. 77; H.R. 109; H.R. 198; H.R. 270; H.R. 321; H.R. 464; H.R. 502; H.R. 544; H.R. 917; H.R. 1086; H.R. 1118; H.R. 1441; H.R. 1458; H.R. 1468; H.R. 1658; H.R. 1891; H.R. 2520; H.R. 2607; H.R. 2692; H.R. 2784; H.R. 2785; H.R. 2786; H.R. 2787; H.R. 3141; H.R. 3217; H.R. 3218; H.R. 3356; H.R. 3372; H.R. 3400; H.R. 3438; H.R. 3454; and H.R. 3478.

That is on top of all of the Republican amendments that the Democrats systematically rejected throughout this debate. This is an enlightening reminder of the Republican amendments to healthcare reform that were flat out rejected by Democrats.

Breaking Down Year One of the Stimulus (Lies and BS)

Thanks to Glenn Beck for this gem of wisdom:

February 17, 2010

Let's rewind the clocks to one year ago. America needed the stimulus package. We couldn't live without it. That's what our leaders were telling us then:

SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE NANCY PELOSI: Failure to act quickly can only lead to more job losses and more economic pain for Americans.

PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA: I don't believe that it's too late to change course. But it will be if we don't take dramatic action as soon as possible. If nothing is done, this recession could linger for years. The unemployment rate could reach double digits.

The situation could not be more serious.  It's time to pass an economic recovery and reinvestment plan to get our economy moving.

VICE PRESIDENT JOE BIDEN: This is about getting this out and spent in 18 months, to create 3.5 million jobs and to set — tee this up, so the rest of the good work that's being done here literally dropkicks us out of this recession and we begin to grow again.

Yes, America might not recover if we didn't borrow more money from places like China and then recklessly spend it.  So, how has the plan worked out? Vice President Joe Biden had this glowing review:

BIDEN: This act, along with everything else we did, helped us avoid a depression. It also succeeded in saving or creating 2 million of jobs so far.

It was designed to have two stages to it. We've only been halfway through the act. The job creating portions are really loaded in the second half here and the major projects that are going to be being built but yes, they have gotten money's worth.

Two stages? Was the first stage just to waste our money? That's new to me. Did you know that? Well it's good to know that they didn't work on job creation in the first part, because unemployment has gone from 8.2 percent to 9.7 percent. And there was no intent to restore the economy either: America owes $1.6 trillion more today than we did a year ago.

Anyway, the president offered his assessment today:

OBAMA: The Recovery Act was never intended to save every job or restore our economy to full strength. No bill or government program can do that. Businesses are the true engines of growth. Businesses are the engines of job creation in this country.

Did I hear right? The president said that government can't restore the economy? That's weird, because I think it was about a year ago when he told America this:

OBAMA: The federal government is the only entity left with the resources to jolt our economy back into life.

But now that it's not working, seems he's playing a different tune. Valerie Jarrett chalked the bad wrap on the stimulus over PR struggles: "It's hard to get out positive news stories when people tend to focus on what's going wrong as opposed to what's going well." She added that the administration has "not done a good enough job explaining" how the plan has helped people.

I can't take it anymore.
Mr. President, we can hear you! The American people can hear you! And you and the people who have done this to the American economy are about to hear from us.

Let's say you broke your leg. You go to the hospital and your leg is fixed. And you get back on your feet — you're feeling good. You don't need the doctor to say, "You don't have a broken leg anymore." Same with the stimulus: If it were actually helping people, Valerie, you wouldn't have to explain it better.

In fact, it's working so poorly that polls show that more people believe Elvis is alive than believe the stimulus actually worked.

That's how much of a disaster this thing has been. I mean, Joe Biden is in charge of it. What did you expect?

Only about a third of the stimulus money has been spent. Wait, I thought it was an emergency? Anyway, what about those lucky people who actually got money? Who are they? One lucky recipient was Serious Windows, a small window manufacturer. In a strange, unrelated coincidence, the VP of policy for Serious Windows happens to be married to Obama's weatherization "czar" Cathy Zoi.

Small world, huh?

And now, many of the places that received money from the stimulus package — like schools who were struggling — well, the money has dried up and now they are broke again. This wasn't about creating jobs. None have been "created," they just prolonged the inevitable and, in the process, wasted taxpayer money.

But that's not stopping the White House from coming out and saying that it saved us from another Great Depression. Really? I thought that was TARP's job.

No one will tell you the truth. You know, before they announced it, I was actually for some form of TARP and the reason was, if you can just hold off the collapse for a while, you can use that time to wake people up, help them to prepare. But they haven't used it for that. They've used it to convince us that everything is just dandy. We fixed that mess George W. Bush made, huh? And they are using it for the fundamental transformation of this country. Want something to pass? Don't worry about it; we'll jam it in the next stimulus. Congress is being circumvented and is becoming irrelevant.

Fundamental transformation or restoration; one of the two is heading our way.

I can't say it enough: prepare. Use this time wisely. While they argue over which jobs were "saved" and look for Elvis, save your money. Get out of debt. When a store is offering two for one, do what your grandparents did. Most importantly educate yourself. Know history, the Constitution.

If I'm wrong (and I hope I am) then no big deal. Better safe than sorry. When has that been bad in America? Ben Franklin would be proud. But I beg you to consider that the worst is not behind us. It's yet to begin.
